New York City Joins the Fray

New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg has initiated a process to solicit renewable energy developers that is being compared to San Francisco's CCA program, and this has raised the specter of a competition between the two "Green Cities." In fact, despite the fact that New York's population is ten times larger, San Francisco's scale (because of CCA and revenue bonds) is the larger of the two.
